If you haven’t heard of the Champions Program for homebuyers, I’d love to be the first to tell you about it. It’s a program created by Revel Realty to give back to the people who serve our community—and I’m proud to participate in it with every transaction that qualifies.
This isn’t some national program or corporate promo. The Champions Program for homebuyers is a locally built initiative with heart—and it’s already made a huge impact on clients I’ve been honored to help.
What Is the Champions Program for Homebuyers?
The Champions Program for homebuyers is available to military families, teachers, nurses, first responders, and nonprofit workers who buy or sell their home with me.
If you’re buying a home, I give back 0.5% of the purchase price after closing—directly to you, in the form of a check. That’s $1,500 on a $300,000 home. It’s real money, returned to the people who deserve it most.
Since I started participating in the program, I’ve already given back over $18,000 to my clients—and I keep a running total because I believe in what this program stands for.
A Story That Says It All
One of my favorite experiences with the Champions Program for homebuyers involved a military family relocating to Nebraska from Guam. We handled the entire transaction virtually. They signed all their paperwork while still overseas.
As part of the program—and with my property management background—I coordinated home services before they even arrived. We had the interior painted, the carpets cleaned, and the HVAC system serviced. When they walked through the door, their new home was spotless and fully move-in ready.
As you can imagine, it was a huge relief for them. It felt good knowing they could just settle in without worrying about a long to-do list. That’s exactly what this program is for.
Sellers Can Benefit, Too
The Champions Program for homebuyers isn’t just for buyers. Sellers who qualify also receive a benefit.
In those cases, I reduce my standard listing fee or offer added services like professional photos, a pre-inspection, or staging consultations. The goal is the same—make your move smoother and give back a little in the process.
For example, I might lower the overall commission from 5.5% to 5%, depending on the situation. It’s flexible, and I work with each client to determine the best fit.
Who’s Eligible?
The Champions Program for homebuyers is available to:
- Military service members and veterans
- Teachers and education staff
- Healthcare professionals
- First responders
- Nonprofit employees
If you’re not sure you qualify, reach out. I’m always happy to walk you through it. I’ve worked with a lot of families who weren’t sure and were thrilled to find out they were eligible.
Why I Participate
I didn’t create the Champions Program for homebuyers—my managing broker did—but I’m proud to offer it with every eligible transaction.
As a realtor, I believe my job is about more than buying and selling homes. It’s about serving people—and this program lets me do that in a really tangible way.
It’s one of the reasons I also donate 10% of my commissions to local nonprofits like Moving Veterans Forward and 50 Mile March. When you work with me, you’re not just buying or selling a home—you’re helping me give back to organizations that make our community stronger.
A Look at the Numbers
Since I started participating in the Champions Program for homebuyers:
- I’ve returned over $18,000 to qualifying buyers and sellers – that number is growing every day
- The highest single rebate I’ve given was $2,500
- I donate 10% of my commissions to local nonprofits with every transaction
This is how I do business. And I’m proud of it.
