CaroLynn’s Cheesecake made its debut at a high school craft show in Papillion, Nebraska, on October 16, 2010. Cathy and her family offered free samples, knowing that once people tasted their cheesecake, they would be hooked.
Their marketing strategy worked like a charm! The signature pink boxes caught shoppers’ attention, and word-of-mouth spread like wildfire. After selling out at their first event, they attended the Papillion South Craft Fair the following month—where they sold 75 cheesecakes in just 2.5 hours!
