Omaha Christmas Lights 2025 – Must-See Light Displays
Falconwood Frosty Nights Christmas Village & Lights
New this year! A dazzling walk-through experience filled with music, a Christmas Village complete with up to 20 vendors and food trucks, and visits from Santa.
Washington Park Lights in Bellevue
A local favorite. This light display is synchronized to music. Park and tune in to listen, or get out and walk through it for an even more immersive experience.
Lauritzen Gardens – Holiday Poinsettia show and Bright Nights
The botanical gardens puts up their annual poinsettia tree and brings the trains inside for a display that is both elegant and family friendly. There are plenty of things for the kids to do, including fire pits with kits to make a s’more and play game.
The Poinsettia show is included with regular admission, Bright Nights is a separately ticketed event.

Zoolightful at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo
Running from November 19th – January 11, Zoolightful is one of the most magical events in the area. From general admission tickets to a VIP experience with a private igloo, enjoy the zoo in a different and merry way. https://zoolightful.omahazoo.com/
Fontenelle Forest – Santa’s Forest Festival and Winter Wonderland
Starting with Santa’s Forest Festival on December 6th, the forest kicks off the Christmas season with a nature theme. The Great Hall is turned into a festive sanctuary with a giant tree and wreath display. From December 9th – January 2nd, the boardwalk loop (accessible for strollers and wheelchairs) is lighted for a different look at the forest.

Santa’s Rockin’ Lights at Werner Park
Over one mile of synchronized light-to-music show with larger than life displays that will have kids dancing in their car seats.
Magical Lights at Lake Cunningham
Nebraska’s largest drive through Christmas light show at Lake Cunningham. Features over 1 million lights synchronized to music.
Christmasland – Valley
70 acres of lights, thousands of dazzling lights, whimsical displays and giant decorations on over 2 miles of paved roadway. A portion of the proceeds is donated to the Salvation Army and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Foundation of Omaha, NE.
Nebraska City Magic
Stop at the Christmas at the Arbor Day Lodge Mansion or Kickoff to Christmas at Arbor Day Farm for small-town sparkle.
Lincoln Zoo Lights
The Lincoln Children’s Zoo may not be as famous as the Henry Doorly Zoo, but it is outstanding on its own. Smaller and more intimate, this light experience is known to sell out. Expect to see light shows choreographed to music, hanging vine lights, light tunnels, over 30 lit animal silhouettes and holiday train rides. It is absolutely worth the drive.
